Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Terry Johnson, your Principal at Daingerfield Junior High School. I am thrilled to be returning back to Daingerfield. Moreover, I am excited about the learning opportunities and experiences that our amazing teachers will provide to our students this year. Our goal is to set high academic and behavior expectations for our students. We look forward to providing you with the care and support needed to help our students have a successful school year. Daingerfield Jr. High is a wonderful learning community. Our theme this year is “Rising to the Star”. As we continue our pathway to academic excellence, we are committed to working with all of our stakeholders, especially our parents. We are looking forward to your support and partnership with us as we reach for the stars. By working together, I am confident that we can create a culture of strong caring relationships, academic excellence and a safe learning environment. Communication is going to be very important as we work together to help our students reach the stars. Let us move forward with determination, teamwork, and perseverance as we start the new school year. Again, it is a privilege for me to be returning back to Daingerfield to serve our students, parents, and community.
