Daingerfield High School New Student Registration
As a new or prospective student of Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School District, we are committed to providing an exceptional education in an environment that will nurture the intellectual, social, and cultural development of each student. Students will be challenged through a wide array of academic and extracurricular opportunities. Our goal is to connect students to real-world experiences which promote real-world success.
Any student who is NEW to Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD or who did not complete the prior school year in a D-LS ISD school is REQUIRED to complete the registration process. NEW students may register at Daingerfield high School from August 7th-August 11th. You may register during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Please be prepared to provide Proof of Residency when you come to complete your registration paperwork.

Athletics Banquet – the Daingerfield-Lone Star Annual Athletics Banquet will be tomorrow, May 19th, at 6:00 at The Hill Event Center. Tickets can be purchased for $8 at the field house; tickets will not be sold at the door.
2018 Football Program Ads – athletes & student groups who would like to purchase an ad in the 2018 Football Program can do so now. The prices of ads are as follows: 1/8 page - $25; ¼ page - $50; ½ page - $75; full page - $100. Deadline for completed ad is August 1st. Payments are to be made out to Daingerfield Athletic Department. Contact Janet Larsen for more information.
Free Sports Physicals – are today from 1:00-5:30 in the new gym. If paperwork is not turned in, you will not be allowed to participate.
ACT Math Tutorials – will be today after school from 3:30-5:00 in Mrs. Gilmore’s room.
Upward Bound – will have a monthly meeting at NTCC next Monday, May 21st, at 5:30.
Yearbooks – are on sale for $50. See Mrs. Sutton to order yours today.
Dual Credit Classes – enrollment is open for Summer & Fall 2018. Sign up in the Counselor’s Office. Dual Credit Scholarship applications are in the Counselor’s Office; they are due May 21st.
Saturday School – will continue tomorrow from 8:00-12:00 in the DAEP building.
Graduation – will be held at 8:00 on Friday evening, May 25th, at the Mickey Mayne Tiger Stadium.
Last Day/Early Release – the last day of school is Friday, May 25th, and we will release at noon.
Final Transcripts – seniors, please turn in requests to Mrs. Thompson for final transcripts to be sent to the college you plan to attend in the fall. These will be mailed in June.
Adopt-A-Highway – Mrs. Sutton & Ms. Loyd need 7 sophomore & 7 junior members from NHS & Student Council to clean the highway on May 29th from 9-12. We realize this is the beginning of your summer, but we would really appreciate you coming. We will feed you pizza afterwards.
Fun Day – today we will go to the Daingerfield State Park. Buses will load at 10:30 and return to campus by 3:00.
NHS Members – who would like to help with Fun Day at West & South need to see Ms. Loyd today. The dates are next Wednesday & Thursday, May 23rd-24th.
